His wine list showcases exceptional provenance and quality, with each selection chosen to enhance the restaurant’s seasonally inspired menu. Whether guiding guests through wine pairings or sharing his passion for viticulture, Jacopo embodies The Braywood’s commitment to sophisticated yet welcoming hospitality, ensuring every dining experience is elevated through perfectly chosen wines.

Recognition Among The Industry's Finest

Jacopo’s talent has earned him national recognition, being named in Sommelier Edit’s Top 100 Sommeliers in 2025, a prestigious accolade that celebrates the UK’s most accomplished wine professionals.

In the same year, he was also crowned one of the winners of the 2025 Taylor’s Port Competition, its inaugural edition, further cementing his status as a rising star in the world of wine.

This achievement reflects his exceptional palate, extensive knowledge, and ability to create memorable wine experiences that perfectly complement The Braywood’s seasonal cuisine.

Years of Excellence with WSH Restaurants

In 2020, Jacopo brought his passion for wine to the UK, joining The Woodspeen team as a Sommelier, where he began crafting memorable wine experiences for discerning guests.

Through dedication and deep knowledge of viticulture, Jacopo progressed to Head Sommelier at The Woodspeen in 2023, where he refined his craft in curating exceptional wine lists and guiding guests through sophisticated wine journeys.

His expertise and commitment to excellence led to his appointment as Head Sommelier at The Braywood when the restaurant opened in November 2024.
