Alessandro Fasoli MCA
Alessandro’s hospitality journey began in Verona, Italy, where a passion for excellence in service first took root. That passion would carry him across some of the world’s most iconic and prestigious establishments, including The Ritz London and Cliveden House, where he honed a standard of hospitality defined by precision, warmth, and unwavering attention to detail.
His formative years also included time at the two Michelin-starred restaurant The Vineyard, working under the guidance of Sir Peter Michael, an experience that deepened his understanding of what it means to lead a kitchen and dining room in pursuit of true excellence.
A Philosophy of Hospitality That Lasts
For Alessandro, hospitality is about more than service; it’s about crafting experiences that stay with guests even after they leave the venue. His leadership is built on a foundation of ambition tempered by care for his teams, his guests, and the integrity of every venue he touches. He believes that great hospitality begins with great people, and he has built his career around empowering the teams around him to lead with confidence and pride.
As a trustee of the Gold Service Scholarship, Alessandro serves as a lead judge for the award, encouraging and shaping the newest generation of excellent hospitality talent.
Building a Legacy, Venue by Venue
In 2014, Alessandro launched The Woodspeen from the ground up, marking the beginning of a series of acclaimed venues that would come to define his career. He went on to open The Clockspire, The Boxford, and The Braywood, each one a reflection of his growing vision for what modern British hospitality could be.
As Managing Director of WSH Restaurants, Alessandro now oversees a portfolio of exceptional venues, most recently bringing that vision to London with the launch of Fitzrovia restaurant, 74 Charlotte Street. His journey from Verona to the heart of London reflects a career built on relentless standards, a deep respect for craft, and a belief that true hospitality is never finished, only ever refined.
